The project involves the development of an integrated urban masterplan combining residential, commercial, healthcare, educational, recreational and hospitality uses. It will provide multiple investment opportunities for the private sector, support urban and economic growth, and contribute to enhancing the quality of life in Dhofar. The investment opportunities span the urban development, real estate, eco-tourism and marine tourism segments.
In a statement, Dr Ahmed bin Mohsin al Ghassani, Chairman of Dhofar Municipality, said the investment opportunities offered in the governorate represent an important step towards capitalising on these advantages and transforming them into value-added projects that contribute to diversifying the local economy and strengthening Dhofar’s position as a sustainable year-round investment and tourism destination.
Lamya bint Sultan al Habsi, Assistant Director-General of Investment Promotion at the MoCIIP, said Invest Oman, in coordination with the government entities associated with the investment opportunities, is working to highlight and showcase them through the platform, enabling investors to access information on each opportunity, its advantages and investment potential. This facilitates access to suitable opportunities and communication with the relevant entities, contributing to attracting strategic, value-added investments.
